In the pictures below you will see the modest working environment we have here at Pail Face & Son Creations. Johnny still does every bit of his work by hand in his small little shop, and still puts in an enormous amount of time, love, and pride, into every portion of every piece he handcrafts.
In the pictures below Pail Face is creating a special order ring from scratch. This process may take several days from start to finish. He starts by making the base of the ring and creating the pocket that the precious stone will be placed in.
Johnny then will cut the stone and shape it to fit the pocket, he will then hand polish the stone to a vibrant finish. He then will create by hand carving the silver into the silver accent designs, such as feathers, spirals, beads, and more, that will be the beautiful additions to be placed around the stone.
On completion of the all items created by Johnny he will hot stamp the Pail Face logo on the inside of every piece to assure the customer he or she received a genuine Pail Face & Son product. And as you can see by his smiling face he still loves his work after 95 years but most of all he enjoys seeing the joy the customer receives from seeing and wearing the completed item.

Johnny Pail Face was born on the Navajo Reservation 95 years ago in Sheep Springs, New Mexico. He has been practicing the Silversmith trade for over 76 years. Many of his, “One of Kind” pieces, can be seen worn by many who follow the New England Pow-Wow circuit. Today Johnny, always dressed in his trade mark red shirt, can still be seen selling his wares with love of his life Nancy, as well as his son Kevin LittleFeather, at many of the Pow-Wow's held each summer in the New England area.
Never without a smile, or a hug, Johnny Pail Face is a bright light to whomever he touches. His trade is a family affair with much of his inventory being done by many members of his family. His son Kevin, and countless nephews and grandchildren, have contributed many of the work seen here on this site, as well as on his tables at the New England Pow-Wow circuit.
Johnny, still today, travels each winter to his home in New Mexico, as well as traveling to Mexico, Arizona, and Texas, to buy the turquoise, precious stones, and sterling silver he'll use in the makings of his priceless work. During the summer months you'll find Pail Face at the Pow-Wow's busy creating his inventory for the Pow-Wow season. And for the winter months he'll travel to the Southwest were he still drives himself up and back taking his time along the way to see family and friends. His son Kevin Little Feather has been learning the art of being a Silversmith from his father and can be seen side by side with him creating some of the finest jewelry around. Both love what they do, but most important who they do it for.

We accept checks, money orders, and bank checks, as payment for all orders.

If you pay by personal check, your order will ship 3 business days after we receive your check for clearing purposes.
On special orders your order will be shipped on completion of the piece.
Your payment will then be deposited and you item shipped to you priority mail.
If you are un-happy with your order upon arrival, please return it in its original form to us and your money will be refunded minus delivery charges only.
There are no refunds on special orders designed by the customer.
You must remember to realize a 3D item when designing a piece of jewelry. Drawings are in 2 dimensional and can look different when created in 3 dimensions.
