Below we share with you the joy of a Native American Pow-Wow.  This celebration of music, drumming, dance, and food is a way for us to get closer to one and other, and also to get in touch with our Creator.

THE CHYENNE RIVER FISH AND GAME DEPARTMENT                               
The Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe's Game, Fish and Parks Department has been in existence since 1935 and is a federally funded program under a PL 93-638 contract. We are responsible for managing all of the wildlife, fisheries, and recreational resources on all trust lands within the boundaries of the Cheyenne River Sioux Reservation in north central South Dakota. Our tribal seasons are separate from the state of South Dakota's and we have our own licensing system.
